CJ/Cynthia is a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years experience working in New Zealand and the UK. CJ's experience has primarily involved work with tamariki and their whanau empowering them to build safety and wellbeing in the context of trauma (including sexual abuse), family harm, mental health, and relationship difficulties.
CJ's approach is holistic and client led. She practices from a trauma informed and strengths based perspective, with a strong attachment focus.
CJ is an accredited ACC counselor and provides services in the Canterbury, South Canterbury, and North Otago areas. CJ is registered with the SWRB and a member of ANZASW.
